“Horses and Grasses” Back on iTunes!

2 01 2008

After several months, Hard ‘n Phirm’s digibum (digital album? That word sucks, I know. I just made it up. Spread it around and make it a “thing.”) has re-appeared on iTunes. It was removed after we signed a distribution deal with Comedy Central Records, who put it back up a couple of weeks ago. Returning to the digibum is the track “Funkhauser,” which had been plucked off some time ago at the request of Peter Farrelly. He had intended to use it in a film and wanted us to take it down for a while. Pete’s such a nice dude that we had no problem doing so, but the prospect of the song being used didn’t pan out. It happens. I still love that guy.

Well, what are you still doing here reading boring backstory? Get out there and download!

…and i just bought it – see more dollah for your your needy pockets and less rummaging around my garage for the CD version for me, everyone’s a winner.

Now, maybe i’m going mad, but i thought rodeohead was on the album – I guess not…

I bought the CD a year or so ago and somehow the disc got misplaced (lost). That’s nearly unprecedented — but then, I have a family in whose possession the CD was for some time….

Anyway, I went to iTunes and found the album containing only 13 songs. On Amazon, there are 14 tracks. (Funkhauser’s on both lists, BTW.) On the CD lineup, there are 15 tracks. My favorite, the song that introduced me to you guys — “Rodeohead” — is available on neither digibum. On Amazon you get “Comedy Death Ray”; not on iTunes. On neither do you get “Fitter Clappier.”

What gives?!?
